On February 26th and 27th, 2016, 18 local high schools competed in the 37th Annual Davidson County High School Mock Trial Competition at the Metro Courthouse. The YLD would like to congratulate all of the teams this year, all of whom put on a spectacular performance. The following teams took the top five places:

First Place: Montgomery Bell Academy
Second Place: Harpeth Hall School
Third Place: Hume-Fogg High School
Fourth Place: St. Cecilia Academy
Fifth Place: Harpeth Hall School (Team 2)

Newcomer RePublic High School earned the Best Rookie Team award. The Montgomery Bell Academy and Harpeth Hall teams will be advancing to the Tennessee High School Mock Trial competition later this year.

We sincerely thank every volunteer who took time out of their Friday and Saturday to help, as well as the event chairs, Rob Laser, Casey Miller, and Tara Sarosiek, without whom this event would not have been possible. Best of luck to the MBA and Harpeth Hall teams in the state competition!
